Hello...I'm the webmaster for http://community.thecatholicspirit.com. Our slogan is FAITH.LIFE.CULTURE. and our hope is to build an online community of spiritual folks.

It's built on Joomla 1.5 and JomSocial 1.2. There is a Facebook Connect feature to make it easier for people to register (about 30% of the people so far use this).

Even though it's definately a Catholic slant...'Catholic' means 'Universal' and so there's lotsa room in there. :)
