Howdy everyone and welcome to episode 18: The Culligan Man Cometh. The name will make since half way into the show, as we kept a funny and interesting interruption that shows that we are not in a recording studio. ;)
Still this week Jake is back on the show and we cover the following topics:
A quick run down on leo. I first was introduced to leo laporte when he was a host of a tv show on tech tv called the screen savers. It was a great tech show. However, techtv merged with G4. Sooner after the merger all the shows on tech tv where canceled except two I think. Later leo started his own podcast called This week in twit. It started as a listener supported. However, that model was not working out. So leo started taking advertisements. Fast forward to today. He has a whole podcast network with 15+ shows with revenues in the 1.5+ million range. Leo is also to the point where all of his personal income comes from donations.

I'll have to check out that link, I am not familiar, but I soon will be.
And yes, we plan to keep the show going, as well as do a show every week. After the game is released we will continue to make shows, and if we can do the once a week then great, if not, we'll figure it out to where it works for all our schedules and our families.
I have to say that I really love making this show, Danny is so much fun to work with on the air, and the people who listen are great. Plus I get to talk about Final Fantasy. Needless to say, I'm pretty pleased.

Just wait until the NDA is lifted. Or for that matter when the game is released? You are still going to do the show after release right? You also expressed your desire to get the show going on a weekly basis, do you think that will continue after release? I have been checking out the other FFXIV podcasts and your show is the best so far. You have way more quantity and quality. Next thing you know you might pull a leo laporte! http://live.twit.tv if your not familiar with leo
