On Monday morning, I tried to purchase "Then" by Brad Paisley (which is fabulous) and I noticed that  it didn't have that high of a popularity rating, which didn't surprise me because it's still new. However, my iTunes messed up and I couldn't buy the song.

So this morning, I went to purchase it and I saw that the popularity rating had increased, as did the price. From $0.99 to $1.29.  Now, $0.30 is not that big of a deal, really, but I think what annoys me that you pay extra for popular songs. Isnt' that annoying? All of the songs listed below it were $0.99 but I didn't want those lame-o songs. I wanted that one.

I'm pretty much just griping now, but here's the article I wanted to share.

Click this link. And note that you will have to close out of the annoying ad to proceed.

Yeah, after I bought that song this morning, I am going to end all music purchases. Besides, Nokia is releasing their "Comes With Music" plan for Nokia Music store in June. If you buy a new Nokia phone, they will give you a year subscription to Comes With Music where you can download all the songs you want for free. And they are DRM-free, so even after your year is up, the music is yours. Cool, eh? I have it installed on my work computer...now I just need to start burning CDs. smilies/cheesy.gif

I read about this too, music will now be from .60 cents to $1.29 which sucks, but it's what all the music labels wanted... For me, I think I'll hold off on buying any music for a while as my way of saying "no thanks" smilies/smiley.gif
